Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to ensure the safety and protection of people, property, and premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment by regularly patrolling and monitoring activities, enforcing rules, and responding promptly to incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor premises through surveillance systems, patrols, and inspections
- Control access points and verify identification of employees, visitors, and vehicles
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Report any suspicious activities, safety hazards, or irregularities
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities and incidents
- Escort personnel and visitors to and from premises when necessary
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations
- Coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency services if required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven work experience as a Security Guard or in a similar role is an advantage
- Valid security license or guard card (as required by local regulations)
- Physically fit with the ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Strong observation and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
- Basic knowledge of security equipment and systems (CCTV, access control, etc.)
Work Conditions:
- May require night shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Exposure to outdoor elements depending on location
