The APAC Senior Financial Reporting Analyst supports Country Controllers and Financial Reporting Manager in monitoring and reviewing key transactions, month end close issues, and preparing monthly analysis and financial reports.
The primary responsibilities of the APAC Senior Financial Reporting Analyst are:
- Provide support on monthly closing and post close activities
- Review and approve lease activities to ensure new or changes to existing leases and update of expired leases are properly captured in lease accounting system.
- Review, consolidate, and monitor key balance sheet accounts such as leases, accounts receivables, inventory, security deposits and other assets, deferred revenue etc.
- Monitor significant contracts and Revenue Recognition Templates.
- Monitor and review account reconciliations, identify reconciliation issues, and drive issue resolution.
- Drive reporting and monitoring of annual activities (inventory stock take, standard cost update, warranty rate calculations)
- Collaborate with 3rd party service providers and support RCC on internal and external audit activities
- Support regional and global projects.
- Perform other ad hoc projects and tasks related to primary responsibilities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration
- Certified Public Accountant ("CPA")
- 4+ years of experience in accounting and finance (experience in industry in a regional role preferred)
- Experience in public accounting with minimum 2 years of Auditing experience preferred
- Experience complying with U.S. SEC financial reporting requirements
- Experience in large multi-national organizations preferred
- Experience in participating in process improvement activities
- Exposure to general finance information technology systems, such as SAP and Oracle
- Good business English skills (Written and spoken).
