Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the Agile Jira template used by development teams, ensuring it evolves in alignment with business and engineering needs.
- Analyze and understand existing Jira configurations and templates and expand upon them based on feedback from development teams and evolving project requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to design, test, and implement Jira enhancements, ensuring smooth adoption and minimal disruption.
- Engage with stakeholders and project teams to gather requirements, assess feasibility, and make recommendations in coordination with management regarding proposed changes.
- Utilize advanced EazyBI expertise to develop, enhance, and maintain reporting dashboards and metrics that support agile project tracking and decision-making.
- Oversee the administration of on-premises Jira environments, including server-level management, clustering, and proxy configurations (e.g., HAProxy).
- Provide end-to-end support across the agile lifecycle, with a deep understanding of agile practices from the Solution level down to individual Team level.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in administering and managing both the front-end and back-end of Jira and Confluence, including user and permission management, workflow customization, and plugin configuration. Proficiency with ScriptRunner for Jira, including the development of custom scripts and automations to enhance platform functionality. Proven experience with integrating Jira and Confluence with third-party tools and systems using REST APIs and developing custom API endpoints.
- 5+ years of experience designing and maintaining complex reports using EazyBI, with a strong focus on performance, visualization, and actionable insights.
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and best practices, with the ability to tailor Jira configurations.
- 3+ years of experience Must have the ability to design and execute SQL queries to retrieve and analyze specific data sets from Jira and Confluence databases
- Familiarity with Linux environments (RHEL) and load balancing technologies such as HAProxy, with experience supporting Jira and Confluence deployments in such environments.
Eduational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- SAFe Certification – nice to have
Work Conditions
- Work From Home Set-up
- Schedule is from 4PM-1AM MNL / 4 AM – 1 PM EST (Monday-Friday), but the first 4 weeks would be from 7PM-4PM MNL / 7AM-4PM EST.
- There are chances for off-hours and weekend support, depending on the business needs of the project we would be supporting.
