JOB SUMMARY
The Cash Application Specialist supports the organization by performing a variety of critical general accounting tasks related to incoming payments, application, and reconciliation. The Cash Application Specialist will proactively contribute to team success by cross-training with others, documenting procedures, and identifying effective process improvements.
The role will be working ONSITE in QUEZON CITY following a NIGHT SHIFT SCHEDULE.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proven experience in cash application, accounts receivable, or a similar finance role
- Process daily cash transactions and apply payments to customer accounts
- Reconcile cash receipts with the general ledger and resolve any discrepancies
- Assist the AR Team in investigating and resolving payment-related inquiries from customers and internal teams
- Maintain accurate documentation of cash application activities
- Collaborate with Cash Application Manager to enhance cash application processes
- Perform special tasks and additional duties as assigned by supervisor or leadership
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years’ experience in an accounting role required. Demonstrated experience with cash application and/or accounts receivables processes and procedures
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or related field, preferred.
- Demonstrated history of successfully working independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Proficiency in Word and Excel. Experience with Oracle Netsuite a plus, but not required
- Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
- Must be customer service oriented
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
