Senior Test Automation Engineer
Pointwest Innovations Corporation is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test cases using Tricentis TOSCA. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, integrating test automation into CI/CD workflows, mentoring junior team members, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Tricentis TOSCA.
Collaborate with QA, development, and business teams to ensure complete test coverage.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitLab, and Jenkins.
Track and report test results, defects, and quality metrics using tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, and qTest.
Mentor junior testers and support onboarding in automation practices.
Continuously update skills in TOSCA’s latest features including AI-driven testing capabilities.
Success Metrics
High defect detection and low defect leakage rates.
Increased test coverage and reduced manual testing time.
Successful CI/CD integration with minimal disruption.
Contributions to internal automation knowledge-sharing and team development.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience:
5+ years in software testing, 2+ years in test automation.
2+ years hands-on with Tricentis TOSCA.
Experience with Agile/Scrum and CI/CD workflows.
Tools: Tricentis TOSCA, Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, OpenText ALM, Xray, qTest.
Certifications:
Required: Tricentis TOSCA Certification (Automation Specialist Level 1 & 2).
Preferred: ISTQB Foundation or Advanced Level.
