About the Role:
As Pod Plug’s SEO Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in boosting our organic visibility, improving keyword rankings, and supporting the growth of our franchise and vending solutions through data-driven SEO strategies. You'll work closely with our marketing and sales teams to develop SEO-friendly copy, optimize existing content, and ensure we’re ranking for the terms that matter most.
You won’t just be managing keywords, you’ll help shape our search presence and create scalable systems that increase traffic, drive leads, and strengthen our domain authority in the nightlife tech space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular SEO audits and deliver actionable recommendations.
- Develop, implement, and track SEO strategies across Pod Plug’s main site and key landing pages.
- Conduct keyword research aligned with search intent and business goals (e.g. nightlife vending, vending franchise, bar vending machines).
- Collaborate with content and design teams to optimize web content, product pages, blog posts, and landing pages.
- Monitor and report on SEO performance metrics (rankings, traffic, CTR, backlinks, etc.).
- Stay up-to-date on the latest SEO best practices, Google algorithm updates, and competitive trends.
- Identify and execute backlinking opportunities and outreach.
- Recommend and support the execution of technical SEO improvements (e.g. site speed, crawlability, indexation).
Requirements:
- 4+ years of SEO experience, ideally with e-commerce, startup, or tech-focused brands.
- Proven track record of improving keyword rankings and driving organic traffic growth.
- Proficiency with SEO tools like Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Google Analytics.
- Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g. Webflow, WordPress, Shopify).
- Experience with local SEO strategies is a big plus.
- Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and present clear insights and next steps.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A self-starter with a test-and-learn mindset and high attention to detail.
