Finance SSC, Controlling & Reporting. The Controlling and Reporting group is in charge of ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting. This includes compliance with the Company's Financial Guidelines while securing engagement with stakeholders. The group also acts as a business partner for Regional, Project or Group stakeholders and makes sure that the financial activities-driven decisions are taken on a good financial business case, which can and will be followed upon.
Finance SSC > Controlling and Reporting > SBU Inventory & Service Controlling – SBU II
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and consolidate Service Monthly Performance Reporting
- Partner with Service Operations to ensure the finance aligns with the operational expectations
- Assist with the budget preparation process
- Support month-end close activities related to service financial reporting
- Monitor revenue and cost for the Service
- Perform other ad hoc financial analysis and reporting
- Adhere to Euro SOX compliance requirements
- Assist the BPM team and Service Operations on various cost reduction initiatives such as crane cost, inventory turnover, transport cost, and the like
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to perform basic controlling tasks on Service Contracts as needed, such as revenue and cost recognition and forecasting, oversight of the availability of the Bonus/Liquidated Damage process
- Assist the Service Finance teams with ad-hoc projects and help prepare management reports if needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any Accounting or Finance course
- At least 5 to 7 years of Business Controlling or financial analysis experience
- Experience in project construction or manufacturing accounting is desired
- Professional written and oral communication skills
- Experienced in using the SAP ERP system
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to adjust to new situations
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and building smart, well-organized spreadsheets
- BPO/Shared Service experience
Competencies
- Exposure to data quality management and keen on accounting details, MEND (Month End Close) reconciliation and data analysis. Mend reporting and issue management
- Knowledge in Accounting Estimates and Revenue Recognition, particularly Completed Construction Method (CCM) and Percentage of Completion Method (POC)
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with others
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite computer skills, macros is beneficial
- Efficient documentation and process mapping experience
- Has the ability to learn new and complex processes for migration
- Detail-oriented and able to perform in demanding circumstances
- Proficient in communication, stakeholder management, and business partnering
- Has a continuous improvement mindset in terms of process and continuously aspires for professional growth
- Able to navigate in SAP ERP system
- Ability to coordinate complex priorities and meet deadlines
- Regular and reliable attendance
