DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Creates and implements sales and marketing plans that will assure that the service & parts department is aggressively seeking new customers and markets, achieving its full sales and profit potential.
2.Implements and maintains an inventory control and reporting system that uses all available current technologies.
3.Ensures sufficient stocking levels to meet customer demands.
4.Ensures that all parts sales documents are completed accurately and submitted to the accounting office on a timely basis.
5.Ensures that the dealership is in full compliance with all procedures, policies, and rules with respect to the maintenance of warranty parts as prescribed by the principal.
6.Implements and maintains job loading and quality control systems that will assure the department is operating at maximum levels of productivity and efficiency, completing jobs when promised, minimizing repeat repairs.
7.Maintains a system of internal controls, including regular inventories, and operating procedures that will protect the shop tools, equipment, supplies and other assets from theft, loss, or unnecessary depreciation.
8.Ensures that all repair orders are completed accurately and submitted to the accounting office on a timely basis.
9.Represents the company when dealing with the dealer principal, business associates and customers.
10.Assists service advisers in handling and attending to customers.
11.Handles customers’ complaints.Ensures that orderliness and cleanliness in the service.
12.Delegates work assignments, sets expectations and monitors delegated activities.
Plans, develops, recommends and coordinates implementation of personnel & compensation changes.
13.Facilitates employee development through mentoring, cross training, and public seminars and trainings.
14.Coaches and counsels employees.
15.Performs other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Preferably a licensed mechanical engineer.
1.With 5 - 10 years of relevant working experience.
2.Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees.
3.Sufficient experience in general personnel administration.
4.Knowledgeable in the use of MS Office ( Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
5.Preferably possesses a valid professional driver’s license.
