Job Description and Responsibilities;
1. Design Implementation on Site
- Ensure that the construction reflects the approved architectural drawings and design intent.
- Interpret and clarify architectural plans and details for the site team and contractors.
2*. Site Supervision and Quality Control*
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction work and material use.
- Identify design deviations or construction errors and provide corrective guidance.
- Approve or reject work based on quality standards and design compliance.
3. Coordination with Stakeholders
- Liaise with contractors, engineers, consultants, and project managers to resolve design-related issues.
- Attend site meetings and coordinate with the design office when changes or clarifications are needed.
4. Document Control and Reporting
- Maintain accurate site records, architectural drawings, revisions, and reports.
- Prepare site observation reports, snag lists, and architectural punch lists.
5. Code Compliance and Safety
- Ensure that construction adheres to local building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations.
Address any non-compliance issues with contractors and ensure timely rectification.
Other Job Responsibilities
· Lead and develop projects from early concept through design development
· Prepare drawings, specifications, and construction documents
· Design and document commercial and industrial building projects
· Consult with clients to determine their requirements
· Coordinate preliminary architectural studies for major new structures and alterations to existing structures and site development
· Organize and manage permit documents
· Verify and monitor material specification especially for finishing items if meets the required project specification and propose alternative if necessary
· Work with teams across business lines, in remote locations, and coordinate with subcontractors
· Prepare Sun-con Billing for Civil and Architectural Works and Billings for Admin Workers for Civil/Architectural Works
· Prepare the As-built Drawings for Civil/Architectural Plans at the end of the project
· Resolve complex design issues with innovative and practical solutions
· Modify existing plans and elevations to fit client and sales needs
· Assist and report directly to the Project Manager
