POSITION SUMMARY
The Social Media Associate (SMA) is responsible for managing the social media presence of multiple brands under the Palawan business portfolio, including real estate, Travel & tour, farming, plant retail, and short-term lodging. The SMA will develop content calendars, create and schedule posts, engage with communities, and perform light design work aligned with each brand’s tone and strategy.
This is a hands-on creative and operational role that supports both daily publishing and the long-term growth of social media platforms across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
A. SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Content Planning & Calendar Management
- Coordinate with Marketing Assistant for updates on listings, promos, and events
- Create distinct content calendars per brand (Real Estate, Tours, Farm, Lodging, Garden)
- Balance educational, promotional, lifestyle, and seasonal content
2. Caption Writing & Content Assembly
- Write tailored, engaging captions that match each brand’s tone (ex: informative for real estate, fun for travel)
- Include relevant emojis, hashtags, and call-to-actions
- Ensure consistency in voice, grammar, and branding
3. Scheduling & Publishing
- Schedule posts using Meta Business Suite, Later, or native apps
- Adjust posting times per page and audience activity
- Upload stories, reels, and static content on schedule
4. Community Management
- Monitor inboxes, comments, tags, and mentions across all pages
- Respond or route inquiries to the Sales/Marketing Assistant
- Foster engagement by reacting to audience and peer content
5. Trend Spotting & Social Listening
- Track emerging trends per niche (i.e. travel hacks, real estate tips, farm-to-table reels)
- Recommend new formats (polls, challenges, carousels)
- Provide weekly feedback or content improvement notes
B. LIGHT GRAPHICS RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Canva-Based Design Work
- Use pre-made templates for:
- Property teasers
- Travel promos
- Farm/garden products
- Lodging deals
- Brand quotes or testimonials
- Resize layouts for feed posts, stories, and covers
2. Story & Reel Assets
- Design Instagram story slides for new listings, events, or features
- Update IG highlights and design cover icons
3. Basic Image Edits
- Replace text/photos in pre-designed templates
- Add overlays like prices, contact info, or agent details
- Light photo cropping or alignment tasks
4. Thumbnail & Cover Prep
- Create branded thumbnails for Reels, YouTube Shorts, or IG videos
- Follow brand kit and style guides
C. TEAM COLLABORATION & WORKFLOW
- Marketing Assistant (MA): listing content, plant/farm/lodging updates, photo folders
- SCTO / Video Editor: reels and video posts, thumbnails, story drafts
- Marketing Operations Manager (MOM): alignment on strategy, branding, campaign planning, and feedback
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of social media management experience and fresh graduate are welcome to apply.
- Copywriting and content planning skills
- Canva or equivalent visual tool proficiency
- Familiarity with Meta Suite, TikTok, Instagram Reels
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple brands simultaneously
- Advantage: Background in real estate, travel, agriculture, or lifestyle content
