The Role (Part-Time, Remote)
We’re looking for someone to manage and create consistent, quality content that showcases our yoga teachers, promotes classes and events, and builds connection with our growing community.
Ahimsa Yoga Studios is seeking a creative, dependable, and yoga-savvy Social Media & Community Manager to support our two Instagram accounts:
- @ahimsayogastudio
- @ahimsachicago
You will be responsible for:
- Creating 20 posts per month per account (40 total)
- Making teacher bio reels and graphics
- Posting weekly IG stories with announcements, student features, or behind-the-scenes content
- Writing copy and posting on our behalf (we’ll provide a content calendar and brand voice guide)
- Engaging with followers and responding to comments/messages
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing Instagram accounts for wellness or yoga brands
- Comfortable using Canva, Instagram Reels, and scheduling tools (Later, Buffer, or similar)
- Strong writing and storytelling skills
- Familiarity with yoga terms and culture (bonus if you’ve practiced or taught!)
- Proactive, communicative, and highly organized
- Bonus: light video editing skills
Time Commitment
- Approximately 25 hours/month per account
- Work is fully remote and can be done on your own time (as long as content is delivered on schedule)
- Budget is $250 per account/month
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Php10.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 10 per week
