Job Description
As a Software Test Engineer for Avaloq, you will be creating and maintaining automated tests for the Avaloq Smart Client, APIs and Web.
Your key tasks
- Create and maintain test cases for the ABR/S baseline. Translate use case and test case documents into automated test cases. Fix or adapt the test cases if deemed necessary.
- Perform business as usual operations such as reporting bugs/problems that are discovered by the automated tests.
- Innovate and maintain the existing test frameworks.
- Career path directs to ownership of the automated testing framework and subject matter expertise on Avaloq banking modules.
Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of software testing work experience
- Test Plan and Test Case development and execution
- Functional, Regression, End to End Testing
- Experienced or familiar with API testing via Postman platform
- Has a grasp on object oriented programming and relational database
- Knowledge in Oracle database administration is preferred
- Has excellent analytical skills and systematic approach to problem solving
- Has Interest in gaining in-depth knowledge of banking
- Perseverance in analyzing complex situations and finding the optimal solution
- Quality-conscious attitude
- Has high customer orientation
