Responsibilities
- Provide specific intervention methods to the children in the areas of academic, behavior learning, social and communication skills.
- Provide push-in/pull-out one-on-one/small group specialist remedial intervention in literacy and numeracy.
- Assess and monitor the progress of learners and set goals for improvement, including report writing.
- Assess, interpret and formulate individualized learning plans.
- Works cooperatively with all educators and families to support children’s learning and development.
- Prepares and updates lesson plans, reports, for students on the learning cycle.
- Manage clear and precise parent interaction.
- Participate in parent interaction and maintain clear and verifiable records of agreements.
- Engage with school teams to contribute to the safe and seamless running of the organization.
- Take up extra-curricular activities. Be a part of school events, assemblies, staff training, meetings etc.
- Promote the health and safety of assigned classes.
Skills Description
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant full-time teaching experience
- Candidates must at least possess a bachelor's degree in education and qualifications in SPED
- Familiar with common learning support/remedial/reading intervention programs, theories, tools and methodologies for identification and assessments.
- Experience in an international school environment (preferred).
