Job Description
Ø Gives direct nursing care and identifies the nursing needs of patients
Ø Observes medical asepsis
Ø Observes signs and symptoms, institutes remedial action when appropriate and records these in patient's chart
Ø Report observations to the physicians
Ø Acts as liaison between patients and hospital personnel
Ø Prepares patients for and assists physicians with diagnostics and therapeutic procedure
Ø Assists physicians when examining patients
Ø Administers and charts medications and patients reactions to medications
Ø Sees to it that equipment receive proper care maintenance
Ø Discharge patients
Ø Performs post-mortem care
Ø Performs miscellaneous job- related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Ø Must possess at least a Bachelor or College degree in Nursing
Ø Must be a board passer (Registered Nurse), with updated PRC License
Ø Clinical experience an advantage; new board passers are welcome to apply
Ø Can handle pressure and confidential information
Ø Trustworthy, detail-oriented and self-motivated
Ø Honest, driven, hardworking
