They also play a role in inventory management, restocking shelves, and potentially handling cash and other payment methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:Providing a positive and helpful experience for customers, including greeting them, answering questions, and assisting with product selection.
- Sales Transactions:Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently, potentially using a cash register or POS system.
- Store Maintenance:Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and ensuring displays are attractive.
- Inventory Management:Assisting with inventory control, including receiving new stock, tracking inventory levels, and potentially participating in inventory counts.
- Cash Handling:Handling cash transactions, providing change, and potentially reconciling cash drawers.
