What You’ll Do
The Strategic Accounts Specialist is responsible for managing and supporting key sales operations and client account activities. This role focuses on the systematic pursuit and growth of existing business opportunities, with a particular emphasis on customer retention, upselling, renewals, and account health monitoring. The role requires high-level coordination with technical, marketing, and business development teams, while handling sensitive information with utmost confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
Health-Check Coordination
- Schedule and monitor regular health-checks (phone, remote, onsite).
- Collaborate with the Technical Department for execution.
- Report weekly on status and customer ratings (quarterly/yearly).
Customer Account Management
Renewals
- Send renewal notices 3 months before expiration.
- Coordinate with resellers and internal teams.
- Forecast renewals monthly and report weekly.
- Encourage multi-year renewals and node upgrades.
- Handle government account requirements and documentation.
Upgrades & Upselling
- Support campaigns via emails and webinars.
- Promote upgrade options in advance of expiry.
- Coordinate with Marketing, Channel, and BD teams; independently manage where possible.
What We’d Like You To Have
- Graduate of IT/business/marketing/entrepreneurial related degree
- At least 1-3 years of successful experience in the field of marketing, sales, or customer service is required.
- Enthusiastic about marketing and customer service, driven by a passion for identifying and pursuing new sales leads consistently.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, a clear and confident phone manner, with the ability to articulate product features and benefits persuasively.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets
