Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to manage, optimize, and support our server infrastructure across Windows, Linux, and cloud environments. This role involves server provisioning, backup and recovery, system monitoring, incident resolution, and technical mentorship. The ideal candidate will ensure high system availability, contribute to infrastructure planning, and support compliance and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provision, configure, and patch servers across on-premise and cloud systems
- Monitor system health and perform root cause analysis
- Maintain and test backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Support change/release management and infrastructure upgrades
- Document procedures, configurations, and issues
- Collaborate with application teams and vendors for support and lifecycle upgrades
- Perform system audits and capacity planning
- Provide technical mentoring and knowledge sharing to Analysts
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in system administration (Windows, Linux, and/or cloud)
- Proficient in backup, patching, and incident resolution techniques
- Experience with infrastructure change management processes
- Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
