Role Overview:
This role will oversee the entire business analysis function across multiple projects or teams. The Business Relations Lead ensures that the system service request for systems under production is well-defined, aligned with business objectives, and implemented smoothly, while managing stakeholder expectations throughout the process
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing and guiding team of business analyst, ensuring that the overall strategy and methodology of business analysis are consistent.
- Plays a leadership role in aligning business analysis efforts with organizational priorities.
- Provides directions, set standards and ensures the quality of the work delivered by the business analysis team
- Involves in decision making, including project scope, prioritizing business analysis activities and managing risks
- Ensures that the business analyst under his/her supervision are aligned with the project goals and business strategies
- Reviews the Business Requirements Document or System Design Specifications ensuring that the requirements are captured and translated correctly into technical design specifications.
- Serves as an escalation point for more complex or cross functional issues that individual BAs fac
- Provides training, mentorship and professional development opportunities for the team business analyst
- Responsible for building the skills and capabilities of business analysis team ensuring consistent best practices.
- Oversees multiple SSRs (mini-projects) in production or initiatives simultaneously
- Coordinates with various ITG department for the preparation of SSR Release tracker for scheduling of deployment to production
- Provide regular feedback on the status of SSRs to IT Project and Business Relation Department Head
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience in Business Analysis functions and deliverables
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to convey technical information and collaborate with stakeholders
- Able to lead and inspire teams effectively with strong leadership skills
- Able to identify project risks and issues, and implement strategic solutions to mitigate them
