- The Account Manager is responsible for managing, protecting, and growing revenue through the sale of LexisNexis – Nexis Solutions products and content to existing customers from various industries within an assigned territory/set of accounts.
- Deliver account retention and positive renegotiation rates through proactive and strategic negotiation and building strong business relationships with key decision-makers.
- Deliver Cross-sell growth in assigned territory through account development actions and partnership with Business Development Managers and Sales Development Representatives.
- Full adoption and optimization of critical tools and processes designed to enable sales success including meeting all deadlines and deliverables.
- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of Nexis Solutions products, content, and solutions including the ability to articulate competitive differentiators and our value proposition.
- Conduct appropriate product demonstrations and client presentations.
- Support product and market strategy development by providing market-specific insight and influence to ensure maximum in-Market impact.
- Ability to manage a high volume of transactional renewals across a diverse client base with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree holder or completed at least 2 years level in College (no back subjects/incomplete units)
1-3 years of proven sales experience, preferably in a high-volume sales organization or in a business-to-business environment (inside sales account management or territory sales)
Has Subscription based Sales Experience
Bachelor’s degree holder
Great listener, quick thinker, and the ability to work independently and collectively within a team
Strong focus on solution sales and selling on value
Commercially minded with a strong motivation to succeed in a high performing sales team
Customer-focused mindset
Highly self-motivated, energetic individual who builds strong relationships quickly
Must be willing to work on a graveyard-shift schedule
