We are a UK-based cleaning company seeking a call dispatcher to manage our inbound and outbound calls. The ideal candidate must have previous experience communicating with British customers and a proven ability to handle scheduling tasks with professionalism and accuracy.
Role Overview
As our Call Dispatcher, your main responsibility will be to schedule and manage cleaning appointments based on the availability of our team. You’ll act as the communication bridge between our clients and cleaners, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and update our appointment calendar based on staff availability
- Handle client communications to confirm, reschedule, or cancel appointments
- Send a daily summary of scheduled bookings and any changes
- Ensure all appointment data is entered accurately and kept up-to-date
Communication Preferences
- Regular phone communication is essential, so excellent spoken English is required
- You must be comfortable providing verbal updates and answering client calls professionally
Working Hours
- This is a full-time role
- Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM UK Time
- Flexibility beyond those hours is a plus
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience as a virtual assistant, call dispatcher, or appointment setter
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Confident and clear communicator over the phone
- Familiarity with tools like Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, or similar scheduling software
- Ability to work independently while keeping the team informed
