Key Responsibilities:
- Operate trailer trucks to transport materials and goods locally or long-distance.
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips, including tires, brakes, lights, and fluid levels.
- Secure loads and ensure cargo is safely loaded and unloaded according to safety standards.
- Deliver goods to customers or warehouses on time.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules while adhering to traffic and road regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery and mileage records.
- Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery status, delays, or incidents.
- Perform basic truck maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly.
- Ensure cleanliness and good working condition of the vehicle at all times.
- Comply with company, local, and national safety regulations and policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid professional driver’s license (Restriction 8).
- Proven experience as a trailer truck driver or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy cargo if necessary.
- Willing to travel and work long hours or night shifts as required.
- Can start ASAP.
