Booky is the #1 deals and discovery platform in the Philippines, and we’re on the hunt for a Training Associate to lead our client activation efforts, ensuring our restaurant partners and their staff master our cutting-edge software and app.
About the Role:
As our Training Associate, you will be instrumental in supporting our client onboarding and training initiatives, collaborating on the design and implementation of top-tier training programs that are not only effective but also engaging and user-friendly.The role goes beyond training execution. You’ll go beyond simply delivering content – you’ll critically evaluate existing materials, proactively identify areas for improvement, and constantly refine our approach to meet the evolving needs of our diverse merchant base. Your ability to connect with restaurant staff, understand their daily workflows, and translate technical concepts into practical, actionable knowledge will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effective Delivery: Conduct engaging and impactful training sessions, both in-person and virtually, adapting your style to suit different learning preferences and technical aptitudes.
- Relationship Building & Needs Analysis: Work closely with restaurant partners to deeply understand their specific operational needs, challenges, and staff proficiency levels, integrating this understanding into training strategies
- Troubleshooting & Support: Provide expert guidance and troubleshoot issues during and after training, ensuring restaurant staff are fully comfortable and proficient.
- Strategic Program Development: Deliver comprehensive, customized training programs and develop materials (e.g., guides, videos, presentations) for restaurant partners and their staff on the effective use of Booky’s products.
- Proactive Program Enhancement: Continuously assess the effectiveness of current training methodologies and content. Proactively identify gaps, opportunities for improvement, and areas where design or delivery can be enhanced to maximize learning retention and user proficiency.
- Content Design & Quality Assurance: Apply a strong eye for design and instructional clarity to ensure all training materials are visually appealing, easy to understand, and aligned with best practices in adult learning.
- Performance Monitoring: Collaborate with our Merchant Compliance team to track and report on training effectiveness, client adoption rates, and satisfaction to inform future program iterations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Fresh graduates may apply, however experience in delivering software or application training programs for businesses, or, experience interacting with food merchants in the Philippines is a plus.
- Instructional Design Acumen: Demonstrated ability to assess, refine, and proactively improve training materials and programs, with a keen eye for instructional design principles and visual appeal.
- Proactive & Self-Driven: A highly motivated individual who takes initiative, constantly seeks ways to optimize processes, and isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo to achieve better results.
- Exceptional Communication & Empathy: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the proven ability to easily connect with merchant staff, understand their unique operational environment, and convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.
- Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, coupled with the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business needs.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and adherence to established procedures.
