Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, tax withholdings, and company deductions.
- Keep precise records and reports of payroll transactions.
- Address and resolve any payroll discrepancies promptly.
- Stay up-to-date and comply with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws.
- Work closely with the HR department to manage payroll-related changes.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports related to payroll.
- Help employees resolve payroll-related issues.
- Engage in payroll audits and recommend corrective actions.
- Keep up with new legislation and regulations affecting payroll.
- Assist with various projects and additional duties as required by the Finance Department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
