The Virtual Social Media Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing social media strategies to strengthen brand awareness and generate engagement. You will create content, monitor performance metrics, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure a consistent and impactful online presence. This role requires creativity, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media campaigns aligned with company goals
- Create and schedule engaging content for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, and engage with followers
- Analyze performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns
- Research trends and apply best practices to increase reach and engagement
- Collaborate with internal teams to align messaging and branding
- Manage paid social media advertising campaigns when needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing social media accounts for a business or organization
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and analytics
- Proficiency in content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creativity with a keen eye for visuals and branding
- Ability to work independently in a virtual environment
- Experience with paid advertising campaigns on social media preferred
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range of $8 to $10 per hour based on experience
