A Wingvan Delivery Truck Driver is responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently from warehouses or suppliers to customers or designated locations. They ensure timely deliveries, inspect their vehicles, and comply with traffic and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Drive delivery trucks to transport goods to assigned destinations.
- Load and unload products with care, ensuring proper handling.
- Verify delivery documents, invoices, and item counts.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules efficiently.
- Inspect and maintain the truck (e.g., checking oil, brakes, and tire pressure).
- Comply with traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding deliveries.
- Report any delays, accidents, or issues encountered during transit.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with the appropriate restriction code (e.g., Professional License for larger trucks).
- Proven experience as a truck or delivery driver is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of traffic rules and road safety regulations.
- Physically fit to assist with loading/unloading if needed.
- Ability to follow GPS navigation and written instructions.
- Strong time management and customer service skills.
- Must have experience in driving a 10-wheeler aluminum wingvan 380hp Euro 2
