Job Description – Withdrawal Encoder (Grocery)
The Withdrawal Encoder is responsible for accurately encoding and processing stock withdrawals from inventory to ensure proper monitoring and documentation of goods released from the warehouse or stockroom. This role supports store operations by keeping inventory records updated, preventing discrepancies, and assisting in smooth daily transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Encode stock withdrawals into the inventory system accurately and on time.
- Ensure all withdrawal requests are properly authorized and documented.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff and store personnel regarding stock movements.
- Monitor and verify inventory balances to prevent shortages or errors.
- Maintain organized records of withdrawals and related documents.
- Assist in periodic inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Report discrepancies or irregularities to the supervisor.
Ideal Candidate:
- At least college level or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in data entry, encoding, or inventory-related roles is an advantage.
- Proficient in basic computer applications (MS Excel/Word).
- Detail-oriented, accurate, and dependable.
- Willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
