Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you’ll maintain accurate financial records, process transactions, reconcile accounts, and support financial reporting to ensure our operations remain compliant and efficient
Key Responsibilities
Transaction Recording & Ledger Maintenance
- Record daily financial transactions (cash, invoice, credit/debit, etc.) into ledgers or accounting software
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly, ensuring all entries are accurate
- Balance petty cash funds and deposit cash receipts
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process invoices, issue payments to vendors, and apply customer payments promptly
- Follow up on overdue receivables and manage vendor account queries
Month-End & Financial Reporting
- Assist with month-end close: prepare trial balances and assist accountants in closing
- Generate basic financial reports: income statements, balance sheets, cashflow summaries .
Compliance & Tax Support
- Assist in preparing tax forms, payroll input, and audit support
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal controls
System & Process Improvement
- Maintain chart of accounts and support bookkeeping system setup (ERP / POS / QuickBooks)
- Identify and implement efficiencies in bookkeeping processes .
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree/diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field preferred
- At least 2+ years of professional bookkeeping or accounting support experience
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, ERP systems) and MS Office
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and compliance
- Excellent communication skills, confidentiality, and reliability.
