Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Clinic Secretary to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the efficient operation of the clinic, providing essential support to both patients and healthcare providers. This position requires a blend of administrative skills, customer service, and a solid understanding of medical office procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Reception Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors.
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and handle inquiries.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
Patient Coordination:
- Register new patients and update patient records.
- Verify patient insurance information.
- Assist patients with filling out forms and understanding clinic policies.
Administrative Support:
- Maintain and update patient files.
- Order and manage office supplies.
- Prepare and manage reports and documentation.
Communication:
- Liaise with medical staff and patients.
- Relay information between patients and healthcare providers.
Office Management:
- Ensure the clinic area is clean and welcoming.
- Organize and maintain office systems, databases, and procedures.
Confidentiality and Compliance:
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with healthcare regulations.
- Follow clinic policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- College level, Associate or Bachelor’s degree.
- Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and internal departments.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in using office software (e.g., MS Office).
