Job Title: Construction Estimator / Takeoff Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Estimator / Takeoff Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in our project acquisition process by accurately performing material takeoffs, preparing bids, and supporting our project teams in estimating project costs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction plans, experience with construction takeoffs, and proficiency in Bluebeam software. Experience in construction is a plus, as well as a solid understanding of construction materials, methods, and costs.
Responsibilities:
~ Perform material takeoffs from construction drawings and plans.
~ Prepare and submit accurate bids for upcoming construction projects.
~ Utilize Bluebeam software to analyze project drawings, mark up plans, and extract quantities.
~ Review and verify bid documents for completeness and accuracy.
~Maintain organized records of estimates, bids, and project changes.
Qualifications:
~Previous experience as a construction estimator or takeoff specialist preferred.
~ Strong proficiency in Bluebeam or similar software for takeoffs and plan reviews.
~ Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and cost estimating.
~ Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
~Experience working with construction teams and understanding of project workflows.
