We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Cost Control Manager to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing all cost-related activities within the resort and restaurants, ensuring financial efficiency and profitability while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop, implement, and monitor cost control procedures to minimize waste and optimize resource usage in food, beverage, and other hotel departments.
· Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and detailed cost analysis reports for management review.
· Conduct regular inventory audits and oversee inventory management to ensure accuracy and prevent losses.
· Collaborate with department heads to review expenses and align spending with budget goals.
· Analyze supplier contracts, negotiate pricing, and maintain vendor relationships to maximize cost efficiency.
· Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality.
· Monitor daily expenses and variances; recommend corrective measures as needed.
· Ensure compliance with financial policies, internal controls, and regulatory standards.
· Provide training and guidance to staff on cost control procedures and best practices.
· Report financial performance and cost metrics to senior management regularly.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Hospitality Management, or related field.
· Minimum 3-5 years of experience in cost control or financial management within the hospitality industry.
· Strong analytical skills with proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting.
· Experience with inventory management systems and hospitality ERP software.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure.
· Knowledge of food and beverage costing, purchasing, and inventory procedures is a plus.
