Job Summary:
The Fixed Asset Analyst is responsible for maintaining accurate records of the company’s fixed assets, ensuring proper capitalization, depreciation, physical tagging, and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. This role supports audits, asset inventories, and contributes to asset planning and budgeting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record acquisitions, disposals, and transfers of fixed assets in the accounting system.
- Ensure proper tagging and labeling of all physical assets.
- Monitor and maintain the fixed asset register and ensure accuracy of data.
- Calculate and record monthly depreciation in accordance with accounting policies.
- Perform periodic physical inventories of fixed assets and reconcile with accounting records.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing fixed asset reports and documentation.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting for capital expenditures.
- Collaborate with procurement, IT, and operations departments for asset verification and tracking.
- Maintain documentation and filing of all fixed asset transactions and reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Atleast 1 year of experience in accounting or fixed asset management preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with accounting standards related to fixed assets.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Willing to be assigned in San Mateo, Rizal
