Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition and Management- Partner with department heads to assess staffing needs and design recruitment strategies.
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process (job posting to onboarding), ensuring an excellent candidate experience.
- Maintain and optimize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), monitoring metrics for efficiency and quality of hire.
- Implement talent management programs to identify, engage, and develop high-potential employees.
- Conduct regular performance and development conversations with employees and managers.
- Lead the HR team in managing day-to-day operations, delegating effectively and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Oversee compensation, benefits, and leave programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with regulations.
- Set compensation frameworks and policies in partnership with Finance, ensuring pay equity and market alignment.
- Oversee payroll accuracy and compliance in partnership with Finance, without directly handling daily processing.
- Guide managers on disciplinary actions and terminations, ensuring adherence to legal requirements and company policies.
- Oversee investigations of employee complaints or disputes, resolving issues fairly and promptly.
- Design and implement performance management processes (goal setting, performance reviews, feedback loops).
- Coach managers on effective performance conversations and improvement strategies.
- Lead succession planning and career pathing across teams and departments.
- Analyze turnover trends and exit interview insights to shape retention and engagement strategies.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with company goals and growth plans.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- Regularly review and update HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on employee relations, organizational culture, change management, and workforce strategy.
- Provide clear leadership and direction to the HR team, ensuring accountability and growth.
- Facilitate ongoing learning and development opportunities for both HR staff and company leaders.
- Build and maintain leadership succession pipelines for both HR and the wider organization.
- Represent HR in senior leadership discussions, ensuring people strategy is embedded in company decision-making.
- Develop and manage the HR department’s budget, ensuring efficient and responsible use of resources.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategies for efficiency and impact.
- Champion a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture.
- Provide HR insights in strategy discussions and showcase employer brand and talent strategy to strengthen company positioning.
- Stay updated on HR best practices and people trends relevant to creative, digital, and marketing industries.
- Foster continuous improvement by sharing knowledge, tools, and practices across the HR and leadership team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Masters degree preferred.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is highly preferred.
- Proven experience building and leading HR teams.
- Strong understanding of local employment laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and HRIS/ATS tools, with the ability to use data analytics to guide workforce decisions.
- Strong leadership skills: drives culture, develops leaders, and leads organizational change.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced, evolving environment, with a collaborative, proactive, and adaptable mindset.
- Ability to work independently in a remote work setting.
- Experience in scaling HR practices in fast-paced, creative or digital industries preferred.
