About the role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Human Resources Intern. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of Human Resources, with a focus on administrative tasks and HR policies and process documentation.
What will you be doing?
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist in the day-to-day administrative tasks of the People Operations / Human Resources Team, including data entry, filing, facilitating and assisting in office events, and managing HR-related documentation.
- Support the People team in the creation, review, and maintenance of HR policies and procedures.
- Participate in the development and documentation of HR processes, ensuring they are up-to-date and comply with current laws and regulations.
- Help in organizing and maintaining employee records, ensuring they are complete and kept confidential.
- Assist Talent Acquisition Team in the recruitment process by scheduling interviews, screening resumes, and maintaining candidate databases.
- Contribute to employee engagement activities and internal communication within the company.
- Support the HR team in conducting research on HR best practices, trends, and legal changes.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, providing overall support to the People Team.
What you will bring to our team:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or any related field.
- Willing to commit to a minimum of 300 internship hours.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Interest in Human Resources and a desire to learn more about the field.
