- Food Preparation:
- Washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables and fruits.
- Assisting with basic food preparation tasks like mixing, stirring, and portioning.
- Preparing ingredients for other kitchen staff.
- Cleaning and Sanitizing:
- Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Cleaning and sanitizing work surfaces, floors, and equipment.
- Ensuring the kitchen is clean and organized at all times.
- Organization and Stocking:
- Stocking and organizing supplies, including food and cleaning products.
- Receiving and storing deliveries.
- Properly storing food items according to safety standards.
- Other Duties:
- Taking out the trash and recycling.
- Assisting with dishwashing and cleaning tasks.
- Assisting with food service as needed.
- Following all food safety and hygiene standards.
