QUALIFICATIONS
-Bachelor's Degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies or related field
-With related experience in paralegal.
-Know how to drive and with valid driver's license.
JOB SUMMARY
-Responsible for providing legal support, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and assisting in managing legal matters related to business operations. Works under the supervision of a senior legal supervisor or the legal department to draft contracts or legal documents, issue notices, conduct legal research, and support departmental activities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Assist the Senior Legal Supervisor in filing pleadings in court and quasi-judicial bodies
-Assist in drafting, reviewing and revising legal notices, memos and corporate documents.
-Attend proceedings in court and tribunals such as DOLE and NLRC when necessary.
-Assist in drafting legal documents including position papers, memoranda, and correspondence with clients or government authorities.
-Submit legal documents to courts and department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)
-Attend court hearings and represent company in courts in the absence if the Legal Supervisor.
-Serves as the company liaison officer, coordinating communication and transaction with internal and external stakeholders.
-Prepares decision on timekeeping violations and other minor offenses.
-Serve Notice of Decision (NOD) to staff level employees.
