- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
- Set up and stock workstations with necessary supplies and ingredients
- Ensure food is cooked and presented properly and in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstation
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
- Assist with receiving and storing inventory
- Cooperate with the rest of the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Report any equipment issues or safety concerns to the chef or supervisor
- Follow instructions from chefs and supervisors during service
- Assist in daily opening and closing kitchen duties
