LINE COOK:
The Line Cook prepares, cooks, and plates menu items in accordance with recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines. They work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely and accurate food service while maintaining cleanliness and safety in the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to established recipes.
- Operate grills, ovens, fryers, and other kitchen equipment safely.
- Ensure proper food portioning, quality, and presentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Assist in receiving and storing food supplies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training a plus.
- Previous cooking experience preferred but not always required.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
