DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Hotel Engineering and Maintenance Staff Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Guest Room Maintenance
Conduct regular inspection and maintenance of guest rooms to ensure all amenities, lighting, air conditioning, and plumbing are in good working condition.
Respond to room repair requests promptly and professionally to avoid guest inconvenience.
2. Public Area Maintenance
Maintain functionality and cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, comfort rooms, elevators, and stairwells.
Ensure all hotel lighting, signage, and fixtures are operational.
3. Preventive and Corrective Maintenance
Implement scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on all hotel equipment and facilities (e.g., HVAC, electrical systems, water pumps, boilers).
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, or plumbing issues as needed.
4. Utilities Monitoring Monitor power, water, and fuel consumption.
Record daily meter readings and report unusual consumption patterns or system irregularities.
5. Fire and Safety System Support
Inpect and maintain fire safety systems such as alarms, extinguishers, emergency lighting, exit signs, and sprinklers.
6. Function/Event Support Assist in setting up electrical and technical needs for hotel functions or conferences (e.g., sound systems, lighting, air-conditioning). Provide standby support during events or large gatherings to ensure uninterrupted services.
7. Tool and Material Management
Use hotel tools and equipment responsibly. Monitor and request inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies from the Engineering Supervisor.
8. Coordination and Reporting Coordinate with Front Office and Housekeeping on room status and repair work.
Log all completed and pending work in the maintenance logbook and report to the Engineering Head.
9. Emergency Response Respond quickly to emergency situations like power failure, water leaks, or safety hazards to ensure guest comfort and safety.
Be available for duty during typhoons, earthquakes, or urgent repair needs.
10. General Hotel Support
Perform minor carpentry, painting, welding, and masonry work when required Maintain good grooming and proper
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php13,000.00 - Php15,000.00 per month
