Job Description
As an AU Paraplanner, you'll craft accurate, compliant, and personalized financial advice documents, working closely with Authorised Representatives to uphold technical excellence, regulatory standards, and client-focused strategies.
The Qualifications We Seek
- 3+ years prior experience in Australian Paraplanning or Financial Adviser compliance is preferred
- Prior experience in dealing with financial advisers
- Experience in using all modules of Xplan software
- Extensive and up-to-date knowledge of Australian Financial Services licensees and their advisers
- Experience with all aspects of Microsoft Office as well as other relevant software applications
Your Daily Tasks
- Develop and construct quality, compliant advice documents and related collateral for CFP's Authorised Representatives
- Ensure accuracy, technical soundness, personalisation, and compliance with legislation and CFP guidelines
- Review advice document requests and collaborate with Authorised Representatives to ensure appropriateness and quality
- Maintain professional standards and represent Capstone Financial Planning with competence in all interactions
- Assist Authorised Representatives in optimising the use of Paraplanning services
- Assist in developing and improving Paraplanning processes and procedures
- Participate in team projects aimed at enhancing internal services
Technical Expertise
- Maintain current knowledge of financial planning legislation, industry obligations, and advice strategies
- Source and evaluate technical resources and information
- Attend technical update sessions relevant to the industry
Adviser Training
- Assist in compiling and preparing adviser training materials and reports
- Facilitate workshops and deliver training presentations
Ad Hoc Projects
- Participate in and contribute to the completion of assigned projects
