- Performs materials planning based on customer forecast or actual usage
- Ensure material availability to support production requirement.
- Coordinates with concerned department related to materials requirements
- Sends purchase / delivery plan to suppliers and coordinates delivery requirements accordingly.
- Reviews and checks periodically age dates of materials with shelf life and notifies concerned departments of the materials expiration dates.
- Review non-moving and expired materials.
- Contributes to cost-effectiveness projects.
- Close coordination with suppliers regarding all issues that may affect material supply.
- Monitor prices, price increase, and price trends.
- Shall comply with department procedures and specifications.
- Performs other tasks as may be required by the immediate superior.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or any equivalent field.
- At least 1 year of experience in the same field.
