Qualifications:
- Strict in implementing quality standards!
- Bachelor’s degree or at least vocational/technical training in Mechanical Engineering.
- Preferred to have experience in quality control, product inspection, or quality assurance
- Knowledgeable of inspection procedures and quality control tools.
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Proficient in using measuring instruments (e.g., caliper, micrometer, gauges).
- Skilled in documenting inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and trend analysis.
- Willing to work on-site and conduct inspections across different areas of the plant.
- Upholds integrity and professionalism in quality reporting.
- Willing to work flexible hours or overtime when necessary.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducts quality control inspections on raw materials received, in-process production, and finished goods. Uses the Product Inspection Report (PIR) form as required.
- Ensures that inspections are aligned with the QAC Process defined in the company's Procedures Manual.
- Verifies, updates, and maintains accurate records related to quality inspections, tests, and corrective actions taken.
- Ensures traceability and proper documentation of all QC activities.
- Participates in the review of all quality-related documents such as designs, specifications, manufacturing and testing procedures, inspection standards, and vendor/customer requirements.
- Ensures that all documentation complies with internal and external quality control standards.
- Makes recommendations for improvements in equipment, procedures, personnel, or systems related to quality control functions.
- Identifies gaps or areas for improvement to enhance overall product quality.
- Tracks and reviews customer complaints related to product quality.
- Analyzes complaint trends and prepares reports highlighting recurring issues.
- Prepares Non-Conformity and Action Report (NCAR) for deviations from quality standards.
- Coordinates with relevant departments to address and resolve non-conformances.
- Recommends and/or monitors implementation of corrective actions to resolve quality issues.
- Proposes programs or initiatives aimed at reducing product defects and improving consistency.
- Reports major or recurring quality failures to immediate supervisors and management.
- Provides input on product reliability and performance issues that may impact customer satisfaction.
- Performs other related tasks or duties as assigned in support of the company’s quality objectives.
- Follows all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols at all times.
