About the team:
You will join the IONOS Cloud Quality team responsible for ensuring the quality of the IONOS Cloud Platform, one of our most strategic products. As a new leadership role, this position offers the opportunity to build a QA team from scratch, shape its culture and processes, and collaborate directly with development and product teams. You will work in a hybrid setup from our Cebu office, with close collaboration across international IONOS teams.
Main responsibilities:
- Build, lead, and develop a small QA team;
- Design, structure, and execute comprehensive test cases;
- Ensure high test coverage and maintain quality standards;
- Collaborate closely with development teams and product managers;
- Guide and mentor the team in understanding cloud infrastructure and the IONOS platform;
- Conduct regression testing of web applications;
- Perform cross-browser user interface testing.
We appreciate:
- International experience in managing teams;
- Proven experience in QA, with a focus on UI testing;
- Experience with both manual and automated testing approaches and tools;
- Solid understanding of cloud technologies and infrastructure components;
- Ability to create and manage test plans independently;
- Comfortable working in Linux environments and logging into servers;
- Strong communication and leadership skills;
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Would be a plus:
- Experience with automation tools like Selenium or Playwright;
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows;
- Knowledge of observability tools for debugging and monitoring;
- Previous work on cloud-native platforms or SaaS products.
