Job Description: Sales Manager (Hotels/Resorts)
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to join our team at a luxurious hotel/resort. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining relationships with key clients to achieve revenue targets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
- Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, including corporate clients, event planners, and travel agents.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the hotel's client base.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns to support sales efforts.
- Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitive activity, and customer needs.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients.
- Monitor and report on sales performance and develop plans to address any shortfalls.
- Train and mentor sales team members to improve their performance and achieve sales targets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sales Manager in the hotel/resort industry.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients.
- Knowledge of market trends and competitive activity in the hospitality industry.
- Experience leading and motivating a sales team.
