About the Role
The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for performing day-to-day warehouse operations, including picking, packing, dispatching, and fulfilling orders. This role ensures that products are accurately picked, packed, and delivered to clients on time, while maintaining the integrity and quality of the products. The Warehouse Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations and timely order fulfillment to meet customer expectations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Order Picking:
- Accurately pick products from the warehouse shelves based on customer orders or order lists.
- Ensure proper handling of products to avoid damage or deterioration during the picking process.
- Verify product quantities and specifications to ensure accuracy before packing.
Order Packing:
- Pack products securely to ensure they are protected during transit.
- Follow packing guidelines to ensure proper labeling, boxing, and preparation for shipment.
- Ensure that packing materials are used efficiently and that products are handled with care to maintain their integrity.
Order Dispatching and Fulfillment:
- Coordinate the dispatch of orders according to delivery schedules and customer requirements.
- Ensure that all orders are completed and dispatched on time.
- Maintain an organized system for tracking orders, ensuring that each order is properly documented and fulfilled.
Product Handling and Storage:
- Store products in the appropriate locations to maintain easy access and prevent damage.
- Regularly check the warehouse for product organization and cleanliness to ensure safe storage conditions
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation to reduce product waste or obsolescence.
Inventory Accuracy:
- Assist in conducting regular stock checks to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Report any discrepancies or shortages in inventory to the Warehouse Manager.
- Help maintain an organized and accurate inventory system for efficient order fulfillment.
Customer Satisfaction:
- Ensure that products are delivered in excellent condition and in accordance with customer orders.
- Address any issues related to product quality or order accuracy and work to resolve them promptly.
- Ensure timely deliveries by adhering to shipping schedules and maintaining communication with the logistics team.
Safety and Compliance:
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures when handling products and equipment.
- Ensure that the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Comply with health, safety, and regulatory standards related to product storage and handling.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure efficient order fulfillment and smooth warehouse operations.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Assist other team members with tasks as needed, contributing to overall team success.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Additional training or certification in warehouse operations or logistics is a plus.
- Prior experience in warehouse operations, picking, packing, or logistics is a plus.
- Experience handling products or working with inventory management systems is beneficial.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From Php14,000.00 per month
