Are you a detail-oriented accounting or bookkeeping professional looking to join a fast-paced creative agency? We're looking for an Accountant / Bookkeeper to support the financial operations of our AU client’s rapidly growing team. This is a full-time role where you’ll start with core bookkeeping tasks and grow into broader financial responsibilities such as financial analysis and process automation.
We need a proactive individual who thrives on accuracy and can seamlessly integrate into our international team.
What you'll do:
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and maintain precise financial records.
- Assist in monitoring daily bank account balances, identifying where funds require moving across accounts.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and payment of suppliers within payment terms.
- Reconcile accounts payable accounts and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Assist in following up on outstanding accounts receivable balances.
- Reconcile and process monthly credit card statements, ensuring correct coding of transactions and supporting documentation is saved down.
- Handle freelancer and contractor invoices, verifying accuracy, allocate to relevant projects and enter freelancer hours into the finance system.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis, predominantly balance sheet accounts.
- Support with monthly financial reporting, cash flow forecasting, and budget tracking.
- Maintain accurate and consistently labelled general ledger entries. Ensure compliance with both accounting standards and company naming conventions.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reporting and job reconciliations.
- Maintain organized documentation and filing systems.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team, including data entry and correspondence.
- Help implement and improve processes to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams and participate in team meetings to ensure a smooth workflow.
What you'll bring:
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, specifically with a service-based business in Australia.
- A problem-solving mindset with the strong ability to troubleshoot discrepancies and suggest process improvements.
- Strong knowledge of reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and cash flow processes.
- Proficiency with accounting systems; experience with Accountability software is a plus.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- The ability to prioritize duties within what is a fast-paced creative agency.
- Adaptable and comfortable working with non-finance teams such as creatives, producers and leadership.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pay: Php60,000.00 - Php75,000.00 per month
