Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Invoice Management:
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payment.
- Resolve any billing discrepancies or disputes with clients.
Cash Collection:
- Contact clients to collect outstanding payments via phone, email, or other communication methods.
- Record and reconcile incoming payments in the accounting system.
Account Reconciliation:
- Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of accounts receivable records.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts receivable.
Reporting:
- Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable status, aging, and collection efforts.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve the accounts receivable process.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts receivable activities.
Qualifications
Education:
- College degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounts receivable, cash collection, or a related role.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Additional Requirements:
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards.
