Job Description

Oversee Finance, Accounting, & Tax Requirements

• Manage the full spectrum of financial operations, including general accounting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax compliance.
• Ensure adherence to Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), BIR regulations, and other statutory requirements.
• Oversee the preparation and filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (VAT, Income Tax, Withholding Tax, etc.).
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and government agencies for compliance and audits.

Lead and Preparing Management Reports

• Prepare and present monthly and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow) to senior management.
• Generate ad-hoc financial reports, variance analysis, and performance dashboards to support decision-making.
• Monitor key financial metrics (profitability, liquidity, cost efficiency) and provide actionable insights.

Ensure Compliance with Accounting Standards

• Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards (PFRS), tax laws, and regulatory requirements.

Lead and Oversee Finance Team

• Supervise, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team (accountants, analysts, and support staff).
• Foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with operations, procurement, and senior management.

Basic Qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – Must be a licensed CPA in the Philippines.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Financial Management, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Accounting & Taxation, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Proven experience in handling and leading a team.
• Amenable to work on a hybrid setup (office + remote) in San Pedro, Laguna.

Preferred Skills and Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws, PFRS, and audit processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Xero) and advanced Excel.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php50,000.00 - Php60,000.00 per month
