Job Title: Accounting Staff
Department: Finance & Accounting
Reports To: Accounting Supervisor / Finance Manager
Job Summary:
The Accounting Staff is responsible for performing a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks to ensure accurate and timely financial records. The role supports daily accounting operations, assists in financial reporting, and ensures compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and record daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoice preparation, billing, and payments.
- Assist in preparing bank reconciliations, journal entries, and monthly financial reports.
- Maintain organized records of financial documents, receipts, and vouchers.
- Verify accuracy of transactions and resolve discrepancies with suppliers, clients, and other departments.
- Assist in payroll processing and statutory remittances (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and taxes).
- Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and government regulations.
- Participate in internal and external audits as needed.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Fresh graduates are welcome; experience in accounting or bookkeeping is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Proficient in MS Excel; knowledge of accounting software is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Conditions:
- Office-based role with standard working hours.
- May require overtime during peak reporting periods.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php14,000.00 - Php15,000.00 per month
