Job Summary:
The Accounting Staff / Bookkeeper is responsible for recording daily financial transactions, preparing financial reports, managing general ledgers, and ensuring the accuracy of the company’s financial records. This role supports the finance department in maintaining timely and accurate accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update general ledger and accounting records
- Record day-to-day financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, and payments)
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure account accuracy
- Prepare monthly financial reports and balance sheets
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Monitor and report discrepancies found in records
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and relevant tax laws
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and audits
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
