Onsite Job – Accounting Supervisor

Job Summary:
The Accounting Supervisor manages the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports. This position also leads a team of accounting personnel, upholds compliance with both internal policies and external regulations, and supports audit processes, budgeting, and month-end closing tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of accounting staff involved in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Review and verify journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Maintain and enforce proper internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.
- Support external and internal audit requirements.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate accounting team members to ensure skill development and high performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting-related issues and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Monitor compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP or IFRS), tax regulations, and company policies.
- Recommend improvements in accounting processes for efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field (CPA is an advantage).
- With 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Amenable to work in onsite
The salary for this position is open to negotiation, depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience..

Pay: Php28,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
